2012-Brooke Taylor, daughter of LaSonya Williams Taylor, 1984 Calhoun graduate. Brooke plans to attend ULM in Seconday Education. She has always known that she wanted to teach. Her wonderful Louisiana History teacher in 8th grade helped her realized that teaching history, especially Louisiana History, would be a rewarding and fulfilling occupation.
2011-Kaila Michelle Jones, daughter of Alicia Hodge Jones (1989 graduate of CHS). She plans on attending ULM in the fall with Pharmacy as her major. Presently she is a senior at West Ouachita with dual enrollment in English IV, Advanced Math, and Biology II with ULM; therefore, receiving college credit during her senior year.
2010-Macey Lynne Dalrymple, granddaughter of Dr. Jack Golson, Class of 1941 and Dorothy Wright Golson, Class of 1942. She is a senior at West Ouachita High School and will attend LA Tech.
The memorial 2010 scholarship winner is Fletcher Hastings Marsh, son of Deborah Beasley Marsh, Class of 1982. Fletcher is a senior at West Ouachita and will attend La. Tech. This scholarship was designated the "Earnest 'Stinky' Turner Memorial Scholarship.
2009-Kristi Butler, daughter of Margaret Golson Butler, Class of 1980. Kristi is now a student at LA Tech.
